  • desired g Fresh strawberries, chopped For a fresh garnish and an additional burst of strawberry flavor

Equipment

  • Food Processor
  • Microwave
  • Double Boiler

Method

  1. Wash apples thoroughly and dry completely to remove wax (dip in hot water with vinegar if needed).
  2. Insert sticks or straws firmly into the tops.
  3. In a food processor, pulse Oreos, freeze-dried strawberries, and optional graham crackers until a crumbly mix forms. Set aside.
  4. Melt white chocolate in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  5. Dip each apple into the melted chocolate, turning to coat evenly.
  6. Roll the bottom halves in the crumb mixture while still wet.
  7. Place on a parchment-lined tray to set.
  8. Melt red candy melts and drizzle over the apples in thin stripes.
  9. Top with chopped fresh strawberries before the coating fully sets.
  10. Allow to harden at room temperature or refrigerate for 20–30 minutes.
  11. Serve fresh and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, ensure apples are completely dry before dipping to help the chocolate adhere properly. You can customize the crumb mixture with other cookies or nuts.
