Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces Pita bread Warm before filling for best results
  • 100 g Shredded lettuce For freshness and crunch
  • 200 g Sliced chicken Cooked and thinly sliced
  • 150 g Cherry tomatoes Halved or quartered
  • 50 g Red onion Thinly sliced for best flavor
  • 50 g Crumbled feta cheese Adds a salty, tangy flavor
  • 100 ml Tzatziki sauce Cool and creamy yogurt sauce
  • 15 ml Olive oil A light drizzle for flavor
  • 5 g Fresh parsley For garnish, finely chopped (optional)

Method
 

  1. Fill each pita with a generous amount of shredded lettuce, followed by the sliced chicken, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and crumbled feta cheese.
  2. Drizzle with tzatziki sauce and a little olive oil. If desired, garnish with fresh parsley.
  3. Wrap the pita around the filling, and your delicious gyros are ready to enjoy!

Notes

For a spicier kick, consider adding sliced jalapeños or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes to the gyros. Feel free to customize the toppings based on your preferences—avocado, olives, or roasted red peppers would also be great additions! Leftover chicken can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and can be used in salads or wraps.
