Method
 

  1. Make the simple syrup (if using): Combine ½ cup sugar and ½ cup water in a small saucepan. Heat over medium, stirring until sugar dissolves completely. Let cool.
  2. Prepare the fruit: Wash and slice strawberries. Thinly slice lemon into rounds. Pick fresh mint leaves from stems.
  3. Mix the mocktail base: In a large pitcher, combine pink lemonade, pomegranate juice, and sparkling water or club soda. Stir gently. Add ¼ cup simple syrup for extra sweetness if desired. Taste and adjust sweetness.
  4. Arrange the bar board: Place small bowls filled with pomegranate seeds, sliced strawberries, lemon slices, and mint leaves on the serving board. Add a bowl of ice cubes or crushed ice.
  5. Add decorative touches: Place pink rock candy sticks or sugar crystals near glasses. Scatter edible flowers around the board.
  6. Set up glassware: Arrange champagne flutes or tumblers next to the board with tongs or spoons for garnishing.
  7. Final touch: Pour the mocktail into glasses just before serving. Encourage guests to add fruit, mint, or candy sticks to their drinks.
