  • 4 g large day-old croissants
  • 4 g large eggs
  • 480 ml whole milk (or almond/coconut milk)
  • 100 g granulated sugar (or brown sugar)
  • 2 cucchiaino pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cucchiaino ground cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Tear the croissants into bite-sized pieces and place them in the prepared dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
  4. Pour the custard mixture over the croissant pieces, ensuring all are soaked.
  5. Allow to sit for 15 minutes to absorb the custard.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and set in the center.

Notes

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of caramel sauce for an extra indulgence.
