Ingredients

  • 1 pound cooked shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 cup imitation crab meat, shredded
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers (green or red)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse the cooked shrimp under cold water, pat dry, and chop into bite-sized pieces. Shred imitation crab meat into smaller chunks.
  2. Dice celery, red onion, and bell peppers into uniform small pieces.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. In a large bowl, combine shrimp, crab, celery, onion, and peppers. Pour dressing over and toss gently until evenly coated.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately or refrigerate for enhanced flavor.

Notes

For a healthier version, use Greek yogurt in place of sour cream. Serve chilled for best flavor. Do not overmix to preserve texture.
