Description

This super easy crab pasta salad delivers restaurant-quality flavor in just 25 minutes! Made with tender shell pasta, imitation crab, and fresh veggies tossed in a creamy dill dressing—it’s the ultimate seafood salad for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound medium shells pasta
  • 14 ounces imitation crab meat, flaked
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper, chopped
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente (8–10 minutes). Drain and rinse with cold water to cool.
  2. Dice onion, celery, and red bell pepper into 1/4-inch pieces. Thaw peas under cool water for 2 minutes.
  3. Flake imitation crab meat into bite-sized pieces and pat dry with paper towels.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, dill, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Add pasta, crab, vegetables, and peas to the dressing. Gently fold until evenly coated.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning. Chill for at least 30 minutes. Garnish with fresh chives before serving.
