  1. Season the pork chops with steak seasoning on all sides. Combine flour, basil, and bouillon granules in a small bowl.

  2. In a big skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter on medium heat. Put in the seasoned chops and cook until they turn brown and are slightly pink in the middle, around 7 to 10 minutes on each side. Use an instant-read thermometer to check if the center temperature is at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C). Move the chops to a plate.

  3. Add the rest of the butter to the skillet as necessary until there are approximately 3 tablespoons of pan drippings left. Mix in the pepper with the pan drippings and cook for 1 minute. Incorporate the flour mixture and cook, stirring continuously, until it turns brown, which should take around 2 minutes. Slowly whisk in the milk and bring it to a simmer over medium heat. Keep stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and becomes bubbly, which should take about 4 to 6 minutes.

  4. Serve hot sauce over pork chops.
