This salmon cooked in an air fryer is packed with flavor and a touch of sweetness. It's juicy, tasty, and can be prepared in less than 10 minutes. If you're using unsalted Cajun seasoning, you might want to add some salt to the fillets before serving. Personally, I prefer using a Misto sprayer with oil, but you can also use regular cooking spray. For optimal results, opt for 1-inch-thick, center-cut fillets.
Gather all ingredients. Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Rinse the salmon fillets and pat them dry using a paper towel. Give the fillets a light mist of cooking spray.
Combine Cajun seasoning and brown sugar in a small bowl until well mixed. Then, evenly distribute the mixture onto a plate.
Press fillets, flesh-side down, into seasoning mixture.
Spray cooking spray on the air fryer basket and put the salmon fillets with the skin facing down. Give the salmon a light mist of cooking spray once more.
Place the cover on and cook in the preheated air fryer for 8 minutes. Take it out of the air fryer and allow it to sit for 2 minutes before serving.
