Description

These Orange Creamsicle Truffles blend creamy white chocolate with bright, zesty orange for a nostalgic bite-sized treat inspired by the classic creamsicle.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 teaspoons orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 8 oz white chocolate chips (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • Optional: orange food coloring
  • Optional: powdered sugar
  • Optional: crushed vanilla wafers

Instructions

  1. Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan until it begins to simmer, then pour over the 12 oz white chocolate chips. Let sit 2–3 minutes and stir until smooth.
  2. Whisk in the orange juice, zest, vanilla extract, salt, and optional food coloring. Chill for 30–45 minutes until firm.
  3. Scoop and roll the mixture into 1-inch balls. Place on a parchment-lined sheet and chill for 15 minutes.
  4. Melt the remaining 8 oz white chocolate with coconut oil. Dip each truffle, tapping off excess. Garnish with zest, powdered sugar, or crushed wafers.
  5. Refrigerate 10–15 minutes until set. Store chilled.

Notes

For a stronger citrus flavor, add extra orange zest. Chill the ganache fully to prevent soft truffles.
