Description
These Orange Creamsicle Truffles blend creamy white chocolate with bright, zesty orange for a nostalgic bite-sized treat inspired by the classic creamsicle.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 2 teaspoons orange zest
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- 8 oz white chocolate chips (for coating)
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- Optional: orange food coloring
- Optional: powdered sugar
- Optional: crushed vanilla wafers
Instructions
- Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan until it begins to simmer, then pour over the 12 oz white chocolate chips. Let sit 2–3 minutes and stir until smooth.
- Whisk in the orange juice, zest, vanilla extract, salt, and optional food coloring. Chill for 30–45 minutes until firm.
- Scoop and roll the mixture into 1-inch balls. Place on a parchment-lined sheet and chill for 15 minutes.
- Melt the remaining 8 oz white chocolate with coconut oil. Dip each truffle, tapping off excess. Garnish with zest, powdered sugar, or crushed wafers.
- Refrigerate 10–15 minutes until set. Store chilled.
Notes
For a stronger citrus flavor, add extra orange zest. Chill the ganache fully to prevent soft truffles.
