This Garlic Parmesan Tortellini blends cheese-filled pasta, savory Italian sausage, fresh broccoli, and a creamy garlic parmesan sauce into a flavorful, quick weeknight dish ready in just 30 minutes.

- 1 (20-ounce) package cheese tortellini
- 1 pound Italian sausage (mild or spicy)
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage, cook 5–7 minutes until browned, then transfer to a plate.
- Lower heat to medium. Add garlic and sauté 1 minute. Pour in heavy cream, simmer gently, then stir in Parmesan, salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
- Cook tortellini in salted boiling water per package instructions (7–9 minutes). Add broccoli in last 2–3 minutes. Drain together.
- Return sausage, tortellini, and broccoli to skillet. Toss with sauce and serve hot with extra Parmesan.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for best melt and flavor. Add a splash of pasta water if the sauce thickens too much.
