Description
Succulent lobster tails basted in aromatic garlic butter, baked to perfection for a luxurious seafood delight you can prepare at home.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 lobster tails (fresh or thawed)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Using kitchen scissors, cut the top of the lobster shells lengthwise, stopping at the base. Gently pull the lobster meat up and out of the shell, keeping it attached at the base.
- Place the lobster tails on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, zest, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the exposed lobster meat.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the meat is opaque and firm (internal temp: 145°F/63°C).
- Drizzle remaining garlic butter over the cooked tails and garnish with parsley and lemon wedges.
Notes
For best flavor and texture, serve the lobster tails immediately after baking. Swap butter for olive oil for a healthier version or add cayenne for spice.
