Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites are tender, flavorful chunks of salmon coated in a sweet and spicy bang bang sauce. Quick to prepare, these bites make a perfect protein-packed main or appetizer for any occasion.

- 1.5 to 2 lbs fresh salmon fillets, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
- 1–2 tbsp Sriracha
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- Optional garnish: chopped parsley, green onions, sesame seeds
Instructions
- Pat salmon dry with paper towels, remove skin, and cut into 1-inch bite-sized pieces.
- Place salmon in a bowl and toss with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and optional cayenne.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, honey, and lime juice to make the bang bang sauce.
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Arrange salmon bites on a parchment-lined or greased baking sheet, spaced 1-2 inches apart.
- Roast for 10 minutes, then broil for 2-3 minutes until crispy and golden.
- Transfer to a serving platter and drizzle with bang bang sauce or toss to coat. Garnish with parsley, green onions, or sesame seeds.
Notes
Dry salmon thoroughly before seasoning to ensure crispiness. Use Greek yogurt for a lighter sauce. Try air frying or pan searing as alternate methods.
