Description

Creamy Lobster Pasta is the perfect marriage of rich, tender lobster meat and silky Parmesan cream sauce, wrapped around al dente pasta. This elegant seafood dinner is surprisingly simple and ready in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 lobster tails (about 4 oz each), cooked and chopped
  • 8 oz pasta (spaghetti, linguine, or bucatini)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan (Parmigiano Reggiano)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Optional: lemon wedge for serving

Instructions

  1. Boil lobster tails for 6–8 minutes until shells are bright red. Cool, peel, and chop lobster meat into bite-sized chunks.
  2. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and paprika; sauté 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in cream and Parmesan. Add reserved pasta water as needed for a smooth sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add lobster to the sauce, folding gently to warm through. Toss in the pasta and mix until evenly coated.
  6. Top with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh grated Parmesan for best flavor. Don’t overcook lobster or pasta. Reserved pasta water helps emulsify the sauce for a creamy texture.
